We present a series of tutorials ‘4 seasons – sewing in harmony with nature’ prepared by a blogger @Joanka-Z. in cooperation with JUKI – a Japanese manufacturer of sewing machines – that contains designs and tips for sewing washpapa accessories.
As not only what but also how is important for all three parties of the project- and therefore in accordance with nature, in friendship and acceptance for our natural environment – the projects are filled with the spirit of forest and nature – because Washpapa is paper, Joanka-Z. is a forest girl and CSR is of great importance to JUKI EUROPE.
Tutorials were created for each of the 4 seasons:
Autumn – backpack/sack
Winter – clutch
Spring – shpper + beauty case
Summer – hipbag
A few years ago, we already exceeded the level of the Earth’s natural resources consumption, which takes a year for our planet to recreate. We live on an ecological loan. If we do not limit our consumption and change our habits, the Earth will not sustain us. Together with Tocha Studio, we take you on a one-year trip around our planet, where we will meet all four elements – without them we would not be here. The theories of the elements were formulated already in antiquity and they were a way of explaining and understanding nature in many cultures. We will draw inspiration from them and release our creativity. Environmentally friendly materials such as washpapa, corko, linen, cotton or jute will support our quest. We invite you to participate in all 4 projects: water, fire, air, and earth.
