Modifying washpapa

Washpapa allows for an infinite number of modifications. Be creative!

Printing & laminating

Washpapa is perfect for printing. So far, we have tested the following printing technologies:

  • Digital (it washes off)
  • UV
  • Latex
  • Sublimation printing (beautifully saturated, unfortunately, after washing and wehn exposed to UV rays, it fades or changes colors)
  • Screen printing

Washpapa Aged and Standard can be coated with foil using glue. We tested metallic foils and patterns.

Washpapa Aged coated with foil retains its leather like structure and washpapa Standard remains smooth and stiff.

Washpapa can be stamped, engraved and burnt with a burner as well as glued.

Painting

Washpapa is also a great material for painting and drawing. You can test your skills using waterproof paint or crayons for textiles.
