What is washpapa?

Washpapa is a washable sewing paper.

It does not deform in water, it does not discolour or dissolve.

Application

Washpapa has found application in fashion and decorating crafts. It is an excellent material to produce boxes, bags, decorations, as well as book, notebook and calendar covers. Washpapa can also be used to create laptop and phone cases, beauty bags, lampshades and even jewelry.

Washpapa Aged looks like leather. It performs well in combination with other materials. It is flexible and easy to sew, especially washpapa on a roll. Washpapa Standard is smooth and stiff, however it softens after multiple washes and it acquires aged structure.

Washpapa is Oeko-Tex and the Forest Stewardship Council (SCS) certified – awarded to timber forest products.
